Hi from 2025!

This year I’ve been thinking about how to start untangling myself, my work and my communications from media platforms whose ethics, politics and values don’t match my own.

I know I’m not the only one.

My first steps:
- I’ve joined Blue Sky and will soon be deleting my X account very soon.

- I’ve refreshed my Substack profile, published my first of my Fragments newsletter of the year and started to connect with a growing community of artists and writers on there.

My latest newsletter is about the myth (or is it?) of the use of the PlayStation 1 in early dubstep and grime production and was very fun to write.

I absolutely love writing and sharing stories and photographs and to feel even a tiny bit of the energy I felt around 2004 when Web 2.0 was taking off in the form of blogs and forums is very exciting.
